PINAN SAN DAN

 

Look left at the 9 o'clock position then step with right leg to the

1:30 clock position and pivot counter clockwise (left) into a left

pinan stance facing 9 o'clock and execute a left mid out block.

 

Step forward with the right leg bringing the right foot next to the

left foot and remain facing the 9 o'clock position then execute a

double crossing block with the left hand/arm moving from the left

out block position down and inside of the right hand/arm ending in

a left down block to the 9 o'clock position as the right hand/arm

moves from the chamber position on the right hip up and to the

outside of the left hand/arm ending in a right middle out block.

Immediately execute a reverse of the previous double crossing block

by moving the right hand/arm down and to the inside of the left

hand/arm ending in a right down block to the 9 o'clock position

while the left hand/arm moves up and to the outside of the right

hand/arm ending in a left middle out block.

 

Look right to the   3 o'clock position then step clockwise (right)

with the left foot, placing the left foot at the 10:30 clock

position then pivoting into a right pinan stance facing 3 o'clock

and execute a right middle out block. 

 

Step forward with the left leg bringing the left foot next to the

right foot and remain facing the 3 o'clock position then execute a

double crossing block with the right hand/arm moving from the right

out block position down and inside of the left hand/arm ending in

a right down block to the 3 o'clock position as the left hand/arm

moves from the chamber position on the left hip up and to the

outside of the right hand/arm ending in a left middle out block.

Immediately execute a reverse of the previous double crossing block

by moving the left hand/arm down and to the inside of the right

hand/arm ending in a left down block to the 3 o'clock position

while the right hand/arm moves up and to the outside of the left

hand/arm ending in a right middle out block.

 

Look left at the 12 o'clock position then step with the left foot

into a left pinan stance facing 12 o'clock and execute a double

block with the right arm performing an right-to-left inward block

immediately followed by a left middle out block.

 

Step forward with the right leg into a right pinan stance facing 12

o'clock and execute a right vertical spear hand to the solar plexus

area.

 

Pivot counter clockwise (left) on the right foot into a left pinan

stance facing 12 o'clock and execute a left hand horizontal hammer

strike to the chest immediately followed by a right hand reverse

punch.

 

Look right at the 6 o'clock position then pivot clockwise (right)

on the left foot into a modified attention stance (left and right

feet together) facing 6 o'clock while bringing both fists to a

position on the hips with the elbows bent and facing  out to the 3-

and 9 o'clock positions.

 

With your right leg, execute a sweep of the opponents front leg,

sweeping from the 9 o'clock to the 6 o'clock position then, without

putting the right leg down, pivot counter clockwise (to the left)

on the left leg to face the 3 o'clock position and execute a right

leg stomp to the 6 o'clock position followed by a right arm elbow

block (fists remain on the hips with elbows pointing out) to the 6

o'clock position immediately followed by a right hand over-the-top

back knuckle strike to 6 o'clock. Rechamber the right fist on the

right hip with the elbow pointing out immediately upon completion

of the strike.

 

With your left leg, execute a sweep of the opponents front leg,

sweeping from the 3 o'clock to the 6 o'clock position then, without

putting the left leg down, pivot clockwise (to the right) on the

right leg to face the 9 o'clock position and execute a left leg

stomp to the 6 o'clock position followed by a left arm elbow block

(fists remain on the hips with elbows pointing out) to the 6

o'clock position immediately followed by a left hand over-the-top

back knuckle strike to 6 o'clock. Rechamber the left fist on the

left hip with the elbow pointing out immediately upon completion of

the strike.

 

With your right leg, execute a sweep of the opponents front leg,

sweeping from the 9 o'clock to the 6 o'clock position then, without

putting the right leg down, pivot counter clockwise (to the left)

on the left leg to face the 3 o'clock position and execute a right

leg stomp to the 6 o'clock position followed by a right arm elbow

block (fists remain on the hips with elbows pointing out) to the 6

o'clock position immediately followed by a right hand over-the-top

back knuckle strike to 6 o'clock. Rechamber the right fist on the

right hip with the elbow pointing out immediately upon completion

of the strike.

 

Bring the left fist to a chambered position slightly above the

right shoulder while simultaneously looking left at the 9 o'clock

position.  Shuffle left into a left horse stance facing 12 o'clock

while simultaneously executing a left waist level elbow strike and

a right punch over the left shoulder.

 

Execute a shuffle to the right ending in a horse stance facing 12

o'clock while simultaneously executing a right waist level elbow

strike and a left punch over the right shoulder.
